Let’s say you haven’t been paying lots of attention to your financial future – not to worry – Northwell Health’s retirement team is on it. If you were automatically enrolled into the 403(b)/ 401(k) plan and did not make a pre-tax deferral election, your pre-tax contribution was automatically increased by 1%. Your contribution rate will continue to automatically increase by 1% annually until you are deferring 10%, opt out or elect a pre-tax contribution rate. You may opt out or elect a pre-tax contribution by accessing your account online or by call Transamerica at 844-675-4547.
