Annual Wellness Credit Program

If you are currently enrolled in a Northwell employee medical plan* you’re eligible to earn the maximum amount of paycheck credits in 2020, in exchange for four healthy actions completed by Oct. 31, 2019. If you complete your action in November/December of 2019 you will still receive the credits in 2020 they will just be delayed by six to eight weeks, and you will not receive the maximum amount of credits.

Complete the HRA and three additional actions to comply with the program:

  1. Complete the 10-minute Health Risk Assessment on Northwell.edu/myWellness – click on the programs folder then click on the “take the HRA” button on the top right
    The HRA is required in order to receive credits for the other healthy actions
  2. Visit with your primary care physician and get a full physical – visit Northwell.edu/inSystem
    Note: a select group of Northwell employees have access to myWellcheck – if completed, this visit also complies with program.
  3. Visit with your dentist and get an exam and cleaning – visit cigna.com
  4. Visit with your ophthalmologist for an eye exam – visit davisvision.com
  5. Get screened for breast cancer with a mammography – visit Northwell.edu
  6. Get screened for skin cancer with a full body check by your dermatologist – visit Northwell.edu/insystem
  7. Get screened for cervical cancer with PAP smear by your obstetrician/gynecologist – visit Northwell.edu/insystem
  8. Get screened for colorectal cancer with a colonoscopy – visit Northwell.edu
  9. Participate in the Feinstein GAP Registry
  10. Take a financial wellness  assessment (in its entirety) at Northwell.edu/financialwellbeing
  11. Take a twenty-minute module/quiz on stress management in its entirety at Northwell.edu/StressLess

Check your status on your wellness summary

Once your date-of-service lands in your wellness summary you can review your compliance here:

  • Log in to mySelfService – click on the myBenefits tab and scroll down

We’re happy to see that you’re actively interested in this important program, keeping you in tune with your preventive care routine each year.

Note: New hires and those new to the program will receive automatic credit for four Wellness Actions. They will have six months to comply or their credits will cease.


* A Northwell employee medical plan refers to the Value, Buy-Up or High Deductible Health Plan.

HOW LONG TO SEE MY CREDITS BEEN SHOW ON MY WELLNESS PLEDGE PROGRAM ? BECAUSE I DID MY BREAST CANCER SCREEN & THIN SEARM TEST ON AUGUEST 2019 , BUT I HAVE NOT SEEN THE CREDITS YET.
