Is weight management your 2018 priority?
If you set a goal to lose weight in 2018, stay motivated by finding a weight management approach that works for you. “Diets often lead to rebound weight gain because they rely on deprivation or restriction and are not created to produce sustainable, long lasting change,” says Michelle Milgrim, R.D., Program Manager, Employee Wellness. “About 95% of people who lose weight are destined to regain it within 1 year.”
Set yourself up for success by exploring these and other weight management resources accessible via your myWellness account. Log-in at Northwell.edu/myWellness, or use the corresponding Virgin Pulse mobile app.
Go to PROGRAMS. On the left, you can FILTER BY TOPICS. Or click All. Each of these categories has many options to explore. On the right, are summaries and links of resources.
